With relevant business and technology topics paired with coffee and a light breakfast, this event has always been a favorite. Tech and Toast rotates between Blacksburg and Roanoke and begins with an hour of networking before programming begins.

Meet the new Director of RAMP, Lisa Garcia and hear from 2022 TechNite Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient Martin Angst, co-founder of Rendyr.  Rendyr is a Blacksburg-based company that created the first of its kind portable laser cutter which received incredible support (over $730k raised) through a Kickstarter fundraising campaign.

Garcia is an educator, business and executive coach, and a passionate technology advocate. She has served as the instructor for the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps program, where the mission is to commercialize technology developed inside universities and she her involvement with RAMP for over four years has played a large role in helping propel high-potential startups in the region.
