About the speaker
Michael Clegg graduated from Radford University in 1999. After graduation, he started in the talent acquisition industry and has spent most of his career building teams and leading regions. In 2018, he acquired The Q Works Group, a talent management organization that focuses on hiring and retention for companies based in the Charlotte region. As CEO of the organization, Michael says, “our company is different than other placement firms. We focus our efforts on our clients’ year one retention challenges and getting their new hire to the anniversary date and beyond.”
His passion is teaching his clients how to develop leaders in today’s business climate. He focuses his efforts on recognizing that things have changed significantly post-pandemic, and leaders have more challenges today. We are leading a multi-generational workforce with five generations in it today. It is more complex than ever before. Companies need to stop hiring for skill and firing for behavior.
