Tech on Tap: Water Cyclone Takeover

August 28 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join your favorite tech community at RBTC’s Tech on Tap. Starting this year, RBTC is giving this series a twist by bringing a bar stool speaker element to the beloved series that connects tech researchers, enthusiasts and innovators of all ages and stages at a post-workday social.  The series will start and end with networking and each event will stage a speaker to share a project, business or passion with just a mic on a bar stool. This unscripted series has two rules: the speaker should stay under 15 minutes and must have a tech-focused talk. Come learn about the region’s innovators at RBTC’s Tech on Tap.

Speaker Hassan Fayed, PhD is the CEO and Founder for Narmer-engsim, a climate-tech company headquartered in Blacksburg. Hassan has developed a technology that can meet various challenges for different industries using a unique aerated hydrocyclone, In doing so, Narmer-engism improves separation efficiency and economics of fine and ultra-fine material in water for companies around the globe. Fayed will share how separation technology is used to extract fine minerals from water and exciting projects that are revolutionizing the climate-tech industry.
