Virginia Western STEM Day

Explore four floors of fun for the whole family:
- Raspberry Pi’s for gaming and coding
- 3D printing
- Robots
- Dissections, DNA extractions, specimens, anatomical skeletons
- Animal models including a cow and horse hoof
- Rocks of Minecraft
- Sound and glass
- Non-Newtonian fluids
- Slime
Location: Virginia Western’s STEM building (3080 Colonial Avenue)
Community Partners:
- Roanoke County Sheriff’s Department will be providing hot dogs
- Virginia Department of Forensic Science
- Virginia Tech’s formula race car and motorcycle team
- High school STEM clubs from the valley
