Topic: What’s in Your Network? Security Practices for Different Network Types

This Cyber Security Forum will be a panel discussion between various network security experts from across vastly different network archetypes. We will have experts sharing network challenges and best practices of common IT/business networks, hospitals and medical networks, open/campus or “wild west” networks, as well as critical infrastructure/power (SCADA) networks & systems.  The panelists will share the commonalities and specialized differences between these networks types, as well as take audience questions, and welcome related stories from the audience.

Panelists include:

    Linux Engineer/Architect at Rackspace
  • Monta Elkins
    Security Architect for FoxGuard Solutions
  • David Raymond, Ph.D., CISSP
    Director, Virginia Cyber Range
Deputy Director, VT IT Security Office/Lab
